CDCU is a structured residential program that provides services allowing for safe non-medical detoxification from alcohol and other drugs; professional assessment of individual needs, and referral to appropriate next level of care.

CONTACT provides a 24-hour/7 days a week crisis line for individuals to call when there is a mental health emergency concerning a child or adolescent up to age 18 in Onondaga County. Additional service components include a mobile assessment team and the region's Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP).

The 24-hour counseling line provides free and confidential telephone counseling, crisis intervention and information and referral to callers of all ages. The hotline is staffed by highly trained volunteers and staff who assist callers with any personal problem, ranging from loneliness to suicide. It is Onondaga County's designated Suicide Prevention line.

Serving both adults and children, this psychiatric emergency room has comprehensive psychiatric emergency services on-site for both voluntary and involuntary patients who may be at risk in the community. The mobile team provides follow-up services to patients leaving CPEP.
